        Who is this course for:

        This programme can meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, including:

        1. Individuals who are not currently teaching and training but who can meet the practice requirements, including the observed and assessed practice requirements, of the qualification.
        2. Individuals who are currently teaching and training (including those who have just begun teaching and training) who can meet the practice requirements, including the observed and assessed practice requirements, of the qualification.
        3. Individuals who are currently working as assessors and who wish to achieve a teaching qualification.

        Minimum Eligibility

        It’s the responsibility of centres to make sure that learners are fully prepared to meet the learning outcomes and have the necessary skills in literacy, numeracy, and health and safety. Before starting this qualification, learners should have achieved at least a Level 2 in both English and maths. They’ll also need to be comfortable using digital technology, as digital skills are part of the requirements.

        While it’s not mandatory to have completed a Level 3 Award or Level 4 Certificate in Teaching beforehand, some learners may already hold these qualifications. Since this is a Level 5 course, learners must be able to work at that level and handle the academic expectations that come with it.

        Furthermore, Learners must be at least 19 years old and a copy of high school certificate will be needed.
