It’s the responsibility of centres to make sure that learners are fully prepared to meet the learning outcomes and have the necessary skills in literacy, numeracy, and health and safety. Before starting this qualification, learners should have achieved at least a Level 2 in both English and maths. They’ll also need to be comfortable using digital technology, as digital skills are part of the requirements.
While it’s not mandatory to have completed a Level 3 Award or Level 4 Certificate in Teaching beforehand, some learners may already hold these qualifications. Since this is a Level 5 course, learners must be able to work at that level and handle the academic expectations that come with it.
Furthermore, Learners must be at least 19 years old and a copy of high school certificate will be needed.
